Department Mission

Protect the public health by ensuring safe and efficient potable water and reliable wastewater collection services.

The Line Repair Department is responsible for the repair and maintenance of water and sanitary sewer lines and related infrastructure through-out League City. The department currently maintains 500 miles of water mains, 4,550 fire hydrants, 437 miles of sanitary sewer lines, and 9,600 sanitary sewer manholes. The department is also responsible for the inspection of water and sanitary sewer infrastructure installed in the development of residential subdivisions and commercial properties.
