Payment Options
Bank Draft
The city offers bank drafting for water bills, at no charge, to our customers.  Please complete the form and return to our office; can be sent via email, .

Note:  All bank draft accounts will be drafted on the due date for the full payment due at time of the bill date,  even if a payment is posted to the account prior to the due date. All drafts are processed (FTP) two working days prior to the due date as per banking instructions to ensure the bank draft payments are drafted on the due date.  With that, no changes can be performed for these drafts.

In Person
Customers can  make payments in person with a city cashier at City Hall or the drive-thru at 300 West Walker Street during working hours.
Working Hours:  7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  -- Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m. to noon -- Friday

Mailed payments are posted upon the day received in our office. Please allow time for your mailed payment to arrive to avoid penalties and possible cut off for non-payment.

Night Payment Box
Our night payment box is located in the center of the parking lot between City Hall and the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center at 300 W Walker Street.  Please note our night box is silver drop box labeled with a green sign stating “City of League City Utility Payments”.  It is between the white drop box for Fed Ex and the blue U.S. Postal Service mailbox.

Online Pay and / or View
City accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards for one-time or recurring automatic payment.  With no fees, you can pay your water bill.

If you have already set up your password/pin online, please go to our Pay your utility bill 

To pay your account and re-set up your recurring credit card payment, please pay your current balance (which is due that day) and note your payment receipt number.  Click return, then auto pay to set up your new credit card for future monthly payments.

To set up your account for online access FOR THE FIRST TIME, please follow the instructions below:

With the most current due date as a verification point, 
it is important these procedures are done as soon as possible.

  1. Click” How do I…” from the City of League City homepage.  Under City Services, click  “Pay your water bill”  https://egov.leaguecity.com/Click2GovCX/index.html
  2. Click Login (on left side)
  3. Answer the account profile, new password, and security questions, upon completion click “Create New User”.
  4. An email will be sent to you.  Open the email entitled, “eMail Address Verification” and click the link within the email to enable.
  5. At User ID:  input your email address
  6. At Password:  input your password (created in #3)
  7. Once online, click Select Accounts.  If your account number does not appear, click “Manage Accounts”, and input your account number with the most current due date , mm/dd/yy.
  8. At this point, you may choose our “Auto Pay” option. 
  • Click Enroll
  • Input your credit card or ACH (checking account) information or choose from your “wallet” a payment method and click Enroll
  • Based upon your water account balance, you will have an option(s) for your first auto payment:

                Option #1:  Enroll using current information (system’s default, only use if your account has a $-0- balance)
                Option #2:  Make a payment after enrollment is finished. (Pay full balance after enrollment)
              Option #3:  Make my first draft date on bill due date:  mm/dd/yy (Pay full balance on your next due date)


  • Click to confirm or edit where needed, then confirm
  • Read and click to accept our terms and conditions.
  • Upon successfully enrolling, the next screen will state this and an email will be sent to our office.

9. You can also “Edit My Profile” and click “Maintain Wallet” to update your payment options.
