Patrons of the Park
The League City Patrons of the Park Foundation was created in March of 1981 to have an avenue to obtain grants and donations for development of parkland, facilities, and equipment. The governing committee for the Patrons of the Park meets four times a year and is made up of seven parks board members and operates as a 501(c) 3 non-profit. In the past the patrons have accepted and used donations for such League City projects as Heritage Park and the Boundless Playground in League Park.
