Director

Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith currently serves as the Director of Facilities and Information Technology for the City of League City. While at League City, Ryan has spearheaded technological improvements including online parks and recreation registration, online utility bill payment, and implementation of components of the city's intelligent traffic system. In 2017 Ryan and his team deployed a new ERP solution for the City to transition away from a 25 year old software system.

Other advancements during Ryan's tenure with League City include: Utilization of LaserFiche document management software initiation of enterprise GIS services, and online mapping accessibility development of multi-agency information-sharing regarding municipal warrants.

He also serves as one of the system administrator for the city's multi-agency OSSI public safety software system (serving over 20 cities). Smith became the Director of Facilities and Information for League City in August 2010 after more than two years working on technology projects for the League City Police Department.
