Candace Brown, City Auditor
Candace Brown joined the City of League City in October of 2020 as the City Auditor. In this capacity, she will serve the public interest by providing independent and objective audits, reviews, and assessments.
Experience
Candace is a Certified Internal Auditor and has over 20 years of professional experience, which includes serving as an Internal Auditor for the City of Las Cruces and New Mexico State University. She has also held positions as a Financial Manager for a district court, ERP Business Systems & Process Analyst for a municipality, Senior Accountant for a university, and as a Plant Accountant in the private sector.
Education
Candace holds a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, an MBA, and Master of Accountancy from New Mexico State University.
