Updating the City’s Water Conservation Plan
With a population of over 110,000 people in 2018, League City’s population is expected to double within the next 15 to 20 years. To plan for the City’s population growth, the City will be updating its Water Conservation Plan with more ways residents can join in the effort to conserve water – our most precious resource.
Captain H2O
In 2011, the City created Captain H2O to emphasize the water conservation message and resonate with children, students and adults alike. This water conservation superhero participates in public outreach events and programs to really show people of all ages how vital water conservation is to our community now and for generations to come.
To request a water conservation presentation from Captain H2O and the water conservation team at your school or organization, please contact Tommy Arredondo, Public Works Utility Manager at 281-554-1040 or email Tommy Arredondo.
