City of League City Parks & Recreation offers youth athletic leagues in a variety of sports. Registration is available at Hometown Heroes Park or register online. Take a look at our brochure (PDF) for the most up-to-date happenings!
Baseball
We offer T-ball (3-4 year old’s), Rookie Ball (5-6 year old’s), and Coach Pitch (7-9 year old’s) in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. All age levels are co-ed. Practices can be held at the following parks: Hometown Heroes Park, Newport, Rustic Oaks, Countryside, and Bayridge. Games are played at Countryside Park. Teams will practice one hour per week. Registration fee includes a uniform.
Basketball
We offer basketball for boys and girls 5-14 year’s old. The 5-6-Year-old league is co-ed while the 7 and older is separated by gender. Basketball is offered in the Winter and Summer. Practices (1 hour per week) and games are held at Hometown Heroes Park and various CCISD locations. Registration fee includes a uniform.
D2 Basketball (preselected teams) is offered during our Winter League only.
Flag Football
Flag Football is offered in the Fall for boys and girls 5-12 year’s old. All age groups are co-ed. Practices are held at either Sportsplex, Hometown Heroes Park or Countryside. Practices are Monday through Friday in the evening. Games are played on Saturdays at Countryside. Teams will practice one hour per week. Registration fee includes a uniform.
Soccer
We offer soccer for boys and girls 3-15 year’s old. All age groups are co-ed. Soccer is played in the Fall and Spring. Practices and games are held at either Sportsplex or Hometown Heroes Park. Practices are Monday through Friday in the evening with games played on Saturdays. Teams will practice one hour per week. Registration fee includes a uniform.
Volleyball
We offer volleyball for boys and girls 9-15 year’s old. All age groups are co-ed. Volleyball is played in the Fall and Spring. Practices are Monday through Friday in the evening with games played on Saturdays. Teams will practice one hour per week. Registration fee includes a uniform.
Registration Information
Registration for our programs can be done online or in person at Hometown Heroes Park or Community Center. To register online, an account is needed. Accounts can be created online or in person. To create an account in person, please visit either Hometown Heroes Park or Community Center during business hours. If you are a League City resident you will need a valid ID and current water bill. If you are a non-resident, you will need a valid ID. If you have any questions, call 281-554-1180.

To create an account online, visit: Online Parks and Rec Registration and click on 'New Account' in the top bar and fill in the required fields. Please make sure to add everyone living in your household, including children.
