Project Information

The Clear Creek Tributaries Select Clearing and Desnagging Project consists of the removal of vegetation and snags or other obstructions along Clear Creek to improve drainage and maintain flow capacity with the following channels:

• Magnolia Creek: FM 518 to Clear Creek (Estimated Construction Cost: $1,026,000)
  
• Cedar Gully: FM 518 to Magnolia Creek (Estimated Construction Cost: $507,300)
  
• Landing Ditch: FM 518 to Clear Creek (Estimated Construction Cost: $188,500)
  
• Newport Ditch: FM 518 to Landing Ditch (Estimated Construction Cost: $665,600)

Project Status as of June 2023

The contractor mobilized at College of Mainland the week February 20th and began clearing. Tree clearing activities will continue through June 2023. Installation of slope paving has started as well.
