Chief Gary Ratliff has been working with a group from our community to gather insight and recommendations in creating the infrastructure for the League City Police Department Diversity Advisory Board.

Purpose

The purpose of the board is to increase engagement and improve relationships between LCPD and the diverse citizen base served by the department, while also increasing the number of minority police applicants. The League City Police Department is devoted to protecting life, property, and individual liberties while enhancing the quality of life. To achieve these ends, we are committed to forming and promoting practical partnerships with those we serve. “I believe that as stakeholders in this community, our citizens provide valuable and useful input and I welcome their involvement as we strive to keep League City a place that all individuals, regardless of their background, culture, or race, are proud to call home,” said LCPD Chief Gary Ratliff. Our officers are directly involved within the League City community in many areas, and continually invite citizens to participate in cooperative programs.
