How do I make a reservation?

To make a reservation, please walk-in to Hometown Heroes Park at 1001 East League City Parkway to fill out a reservation form. To check availability, contact Hometown Heroes Park at 281-554-1180. 

When is the latest I can make a reservation?

You must book your reservation at least a week in advance at Hometown Heroes Park. 

When and how do I get my deposit back?

If you pay your deposit with cash or a check, you will receive a check mailed 7-10 business days after your event to the address you provide. If you pay with a card, the deposit will be reflected in your account within 7-10 business days after your event.

What if I want to add something to my reservation after booking?  

If available, you may add extra time, tables, chairs, tablecloths, the PA system, etc. at least 48hrs before the event. All changes must be made in person at the Parks & Recreation office.

What kind of decorations can I bring?

You can decorate the location however you’d like as long as everything is properly cleaned up afterwards. Except NO glitter, paint, rice, confetti, or anything too small for easy pick up.

Can I have a catered event?  

Yes, the caterers may not show up earlier than your reserved time to set up. Food trucks must have a Galveston County Health Permit and a League City Fire Marshall inspection.

Can I bring alcohol to my event? 

Yes, but League City officers will need to be present. The fee for League City officers is $40/hour, at a 4-hour minimum, and must be paid in cash the day of the event. The number of officers required is determined by the League City Police Department. An officer request form must be filled out at the time of booking in order to be approved by League City Police officers; alcohol is not guaranteed until approved.  

Do I need a sound permit?

Outside events that have amplified sound will require a sound permit. Renters may request a sound permit on the League City website. 

Can I have a moonwalk at my event?

 At select parks, moonwalks are allowed. Moonwalks must be secured with sandbags (no stakes) and renters must have a generator as well. Moonwalk company insurance must be provided.

When can I start setting up?

Your reservation MUST INCLUDE set-up time and break-down time. We do not allow early arrivals. Additional fees may be applied if you arrive too early or stay too late. Please be courteous of renters that may be before or after your scheduled event.

What is the latest time my event can go to?

The latest is 10 p.m. due to park ordinance, any time outside of normal business hours must be approved first and charged an additional after-hour fee per hour.
