Citizen Police Academy

Overview

The Citizen Police Academy was formed in League City in 2002. It gives residents an opportunity to see how and why the League City Police Department operates as it does. There is a spring and fall class every year and the course is 13 weeks long with meetings once a week.

Application

Applicants must be employed in League City or be a resident, at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and pass a background check. The next class will begin on February 2nd. Applications (PDF) must be submitted by January 23rd and can be scanned and emailed, sent by USPS mail, or turned in at the police department.
