High School senior football players representing 67 public high schools in the greater Houston area have been selected to play in the 2019 Bayou Bowl, scheduled for 7 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at Columbia Challenger Stadium in League City. The game is also being broadcast live on ABC Channel 13.
The League City Convention and Visitors Bureau will be handing out FREE tickets to the game on Saturday, June 1 from 9-11 a.m. during the City's National Trails Day celebration at the Dr. Ned and Faye Dudney Clear Creek Nature Center. Limit of four tickets per person.
The game, coordinated by the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association (GHFCA), features the East vs. West format for the sixth consecutive season after getting its start as a Texas vs. Louisiana Showcase.
This year’s teams will be coached by staffs representing Clear Falls and Clear Lake high schools, in Clear Creek ISD; Alief Taylor, in Alief ISD; and Foster High, in Lamar Consolidated ISD.
