Love is the air this month, as couples across our City will celebrate Valentine’s Day. Keeping the love fires burning can be a challenge, especially with work, home, and family obligations. However, for five League City couples, they’ve found a new way to heat things up in their relationship—by serving as League City volunteer firefighters. Three joined the department as couples, saying serving together has rekindled their bond and love of community. The other two say the sparks first began at the fire station. In honor of Valentine’s Day, we’re sharing their stories.
Looking to light a fire in your relationship? Are you single and are looking for a group of people who share your passion for service and making a difference in the community? Then why not consider joining the League City Volunteer Fire Department as a support member or as a firefighter. Who knows, you might even find your Valentine.
