CITY FACILITES TO REOPEN AT NOON ON TUESDAY 9/14: Power has been restored to Walker Street and League City will reopen all City facilities at Noon. This includes City Hall, the Helen Hall Library, Civic Center, Animal Care and Adoption Center, Municipal Court, and City Hall annex. The Hometown Heroes Recreation Center has power and is already open.
SEVERAL CITY PARKS REMAINED CLOSED: Lynn Gripon at Countryside, Heritage Park, the FM 270 Boat Ramp, and the Dr. Ned and Faye Dudney Nature Center will REMAIN closed Tuesday due to standing water and downed trees. All other parks are open.
TUESDAY 9/14 COUNCIL MEETING: The 5 p.m. Council Workshop and 6 p.m. Council meeting at the Civic Center is still scheduled. The meeting will also be live streamed on the City's Facebook page and on the City's website starting at 5 p.m. at http://leaguecitytx.swagit.com/live-civic-center
DELAYED TRASH SERVICE 9/14: AmeriWaste will be collecting trash on Tuesday, September 14, but will not start running crews until 11 a.m. There will be no recycling pickup.
Court Session Canceled: The session scheduled for Tuesday, September 14 at the League City Municipal Court has been canceled.
Senior Lunch Canceled: Senior Lunch Service at the Hometown Heroes Recreation Center has been canceled for Tuesday, September 14.
