[ARCHIVED] October Historic WalkAbouts Feature City's Most Infamous Crimes

murder and mayhem

Murder and Mayhem is back! The City of League City is partnering with the League City Historical Society to bring back the popular walking tour in October. Take a WalkAbout through the streets of Historic League City while visiting turn of the century crime scenes and exploring the many things that make our community’s history unique. All while supporting a non-profit museum.

The two hour tour includes a “swag bag” of goodies provided by the City of League City and a guided tour by members of the League City Historical Society, dressed in period attire, highlighting some of the City’s most infamous crimes, including a murder in broad daylight in front of Butler’s Courtyard.

The tour is available for ages 12 and older and is limited to 15 people on Saturday October 2, 9, 16 and the 23 starting at 10 a.m. The cost is $10 per person, and tickets must be purchased in advance at https://leaguecityhistory.org/walkabout

Check out the video below from the Texas Chronicles which gives a sneak peek of the Murder and Mayhem tour.
