Teams from the League City Police Department, Volunteer Fire Department, and EMS will be competing against each other to see who can cook the best chili. The competition is part of the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce’s first ever Chili Cookoff on Saturday, October 23 from noon until 4 p.m. at Walding Station. The competition will also feature cookoff teams from various businesses across the City.
General admission is $15 and includes chili tasting at all booths, corn hole, entertainment, and fun for the whole family. An adult and children’s costume contest will be held at 1:30 p.m. Children 12 and under can enter for $5, adults for $10.
