For the first time ever, League City has an official Miss League City USA. Twenty-six year-old Destiny Fernandisse will be representing League City at the Miss Texas USA pageant this July.
Destiny was raised in League City and graduated from Clear Springs High School in 2013. She is a full-time marketing manager, web designer, writer, model, and mentor with the Houston Angels, an organization that gives support to children, youth, and families in the foster care community.
"Some things that I am passionate about are helping women who are dealing with breast cancer and advocacy for children who are in foster care," said Destiny.
The City will be collaborating with Destiny to promote upcoming events City events, including the first Miss League City pageant that will take place in 2023.
