Fall Activities in League City
Fall in League City is a busy time of year, with plenty of activities the whole family can enjoy. Below are some of our most popular annual events.
Block Party at Butler's Courtyard
October 21, 6 to 9 p.m. | Butler's Courtyard, 122 N. Michigan Ave. (Historic District)
This FREE event is open to the whole community. Wear your costume (pets on leashes can dress up too!) and enjoy a good time at a beautiful historic venue.

Pumpkin Patch Storytime
October 22, 10:30 a.m. | Watershed Church, 1751 E League City Pkwy.
Helen Hall Library is bringing storytime to the pumpkin patch at the Watershed Church in League City! Bring your little pumpkins!

Gem Hunt at the Library
October 22, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Across the street from Helen Hall Library, 100 W. Walker Street
Join Helen Hall Library for a treasure hunt from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday. Bring your bucket and shovel to dig for semiprecious stones across the street from the library, and keep what you find. We can't guarantee that everyone finds a gem, but we hope you have fun!
Trick-or-Treat in the Park
October 29, 5 to 8 p.m. | Hometown Heroes Park, 1001 E. League City Pkwy.
Back for the second year (but moved to a new location) this event provides the perfect opportunity to put on your Halloween costumes and enjoy a fun night of SAFE trick-or-treating at Hometown Heroes Park. Dozens of decorated booths will be handing out candy, and there will also be food trucks and inflatables for kids.

Haunted House at Fire Station 4
October 29, 6 p.m. | Fire Station 4, 175 W. Bay Area Blvd.
Don't miss this spooooky Haunted House, hosted by our very own Volunteer Fire Department! The event is FREE, but everyone is encouraged to bring canned kitten food or other pet care donations to support League City Animal Care. Best for kids ages 12 & up, 12 & under at parents' discretion.

Murder and Mayhem WALKabouts
Hosted by the League City Historical Society, this educational WALKabout visits turn-of-the-century crime scenes in Historic League City. The tour is about 90 minutes long. Reservations are required. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://leaguecityhistory.org/walkabout

Fall Feathers Challenge
All month | Clear Creek Nature Center, 1220 Egret Bay Blvd
To celebrate Fall Migration in League City, we've put together a birding challenge/scavenger hunt at Clear Creek Nature Center. Grab your Fall Feathers Challenge map & checklist from City Hall or Helen Hall Library, or print one at https://www.leaguecitycvb.com/fallfrenzy. Bring your checklist to the Nature Center, and search for the birdhouses. Find all seven birdhouses, collect the cards inside, and bring your finished checklist to Helen Hall Library for a prize!
Dia de los Perros (y Gatos)
November 5, 6 to 9 p.m. | League City Animal Care, 755 W. Walker
Join League City Animal Care for an evening honoring beloved pets who have passed on. There will be a Dia de los Muertos ofrenda, pet friendly vendors, Mexican food truck, traditional Spanish music, and more!

Family Campout
November 5–6, from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. | Hometown Heroes, 1001 E. League City Pkwy.
Camping includes dinner, breakfast the following morning, games, crafts, and much more! You will need to provide your own camping equipment. Register at Hometown Heroes or select "Special Events" at this link. Cost: $20/person for residents and $30/person for non-residents.
