[ARCHIVED] City Council Runoff Election Early Voting Has Begun


City Council Runoff Election Early Voting This Week

Following the November 8 election—which included six League City Council positions—there is a runoff election for Position #7 because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote.

The runoff is between Larissa Ramirez, who won 39.03% of votes and Sean Saunders, who won 39.04% of votes. Only two votes separated the candidates.

Early voting information

Early voting began Monday November 28 and will end Friday, December 2. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the League City Civic Center, Room 4, located at 400 West Walker Street.

Election Day voting information

Election Day voting will be Tuesday, December 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

  • League City Civic Center, 400 West Walker Street
  • Hometown Heroes Park, 1001 East League City Pkwy.
  • Public Works Operation Center, 1701 West League City Pkwy.
