Summer Swim Lessons
Registration will be opening Wednesday, April 26 at 8 a.m. for League City residents. There are multiple sessions offered through the Summer with class times in both the morning and evening. For more information including class times, location and class fee, view our summer brochure. Brochure can be viewed online or in person at Hometown Heroes Park or the Community Center.
- Parent/Tot: 6 months to 3 years. Instructors will introduce parents and children to water acclimation and exploration through games and songs. There are no pre-requisites for this class.
- Youth Swim Lessons: 4 to 14 years. Whether you are wanting to refine your skills or you have never been in a pool before we are here to help you meet your goals. All age and skill levels are welcome, and our instructors will work with you side-by-side to get you where you want to be. Remember swimming takes practice, patience, and determination. We are so excited to have the opportunity to teach you!
- Adult Lessons: 15 years and older. All skill levels are welcome.
Parent/Tot
Parents will be instructed on how to help their child be safe in and around the water. The focus will be on basic swimming skills such as water comfort, submerging, floating and basic arm and leg actions.

Youth Swim Lessons
Beginner Swim Lessons
This level focuses on learning basic water skills. Participants will be introduced to water basics such as water acclimation and exploration, breath control, submerging, floating, gliding and the beginning steps for front crawl. Your child must be comfortable int he water without a flotation device.
Intermediate Swim Lessons
This level focuses on reviewing and refining fundamental aquatic skills. Participants will learn to full submerge underwater, refine their front crawl and be introduced to side to side breathing and backstroke.
Advance Swim Lessons
This level focuses on refining and perfecting stroke development. Participants will refine theri front crawl and backstroke, butterfly, elemntary backstroke, and diving basics. This class is drill orientated with lap swimming to perfect technique. Your swimmer must be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke without stopping to participate in this class.
