Art Gallery Opening May 26: The Art of Paper

Come and go as you please and enjoy this colorful, whimsical gallery

The community is invited to join us at our latest art gallery opening, The Art of Paper, this Friday, May 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center. 

This unique gallery features papercraft artwork by residents as young as three years old. Each piece is created from at least 80 percent paper. You will enjoy framed pieces, sculpture pieces, and other clever creations all made with paper. Along with these creative works, there are hundreds of origami birds "flying" around the gallery. These origami pieces were part of a community art project, and include submissions from students from Bayside Intermediate, residents, and League City staff. 

Light refreshments will be served while supplies last.
