Free Swim Memorial Day Weekend
What better way to beat the heat than by splashing into one of our League City pools? To kick off Memorial Day weekend, the Walker and Hometown Heroes Park pools will be open to the public on Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29. Walker Pool will be open from 1 to 7 p.m. and Hometown Heroes Pool will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. Admission to the pools is FREE to the public during Memorial Day weekend only.
National Trails Day
June 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Rustic Oaks Park. Come join us for a morning for fun! We will have crafts, mini golf, sno-cones, and more! This event is open to all ages and is free.
Parks and Rec Month
Did you know July is Parks and Rec month? We are super excited for the month of July and are planning some exciting activities and ways to earn some swag! Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for the upcoming activities.
Citizen Appreciation Day
Come share your patriotic spirit with us as we recognize League City's most valuable asset-our citizens! The annual League City Citizen Appreciation Day will feature family-friendly activities including live entertainment, a petting zoo, face-painting, and moonwalks. The Hometown Heroes Pool will be open as well. We will serve complimentary hot dogs and cotton candy. All residents are invited to attend.

Registration for our programs can be done in person or by visiting our online registration site. The summer brochure can be viewed online or picked up at Hometown Heroes Park or the Community Center.
Adult Art Workshop
CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Join us Saturday, June 3 for Adult Art Workshop at the Community Center. The workshop will take place from 12 to 2 p.m. and the registration fee is $35 per person. This workshop is open to ages 16 and older and all experience levels. Supplies are provided.
Summer Theatre Classes
This summer we will have a variety of Theatre classes. Each session is $80 and registration is currently open! Class times are 5 to 6 p.m. for ages 6 to 10 and 6 to 7 p.m. for ages 11 to 16. Classes will be held at the Community Center.

Vocal Class: June 19 to 22
Vocal Class: July 10 to 13
Improv Class: July 17 to 20

Summer Tennis
Our League City Tennis camp is designed for beginning and novice level students as well as entry level tournament players and school players. This camp will allow players ample development time and is an amazing way to learn the proper stroke mechanics, tactical progressions, and motivate students to see how much fun tennis is! We will run exciting competitions, drills, and games on the tennis court. Players will be grouped by age and skill level. USPTA certified professional instruction! To view class times and cost.

Code Ninjas
Join us for Taste of Code Ninjas as we explore the fundamentals of coding and computer systems through a variety of fun STEM activities! Laptops will be provided for all students. Classes will be held at the Community Center: 400 S. Kansas Ave.
