Schedule Your Curbside Household Hazardous Waste Pickup with AmeriWaste
Call between June 1 and June 15 to have your address added to the pickup list
Along with our spring and fall household hazardous waste events at Hometown Heroes, there will be two curbside household hazardous waste events, one is summer and one in winter.
For the summer 2023 curbside pickup event, residential customers *only* will need to call AmeriWaste at 281-585-3200 between June 1 and June 15 to be added to the pickup list.
Curbside pickups will be the third and fourth weeks of June, and AmeriWaste will notify residents by phone of their pickup date.
Residents can place accepted items at their curb on their designated pickup day. For the summer event, AmeriWaste will only be accepting televisions, electronics, microwaves, and appliances. More items will be accepted at the Hometown Heroes HHW event on August 26.
Unaccepted items include (but are not limited to) hazardous chemicals, business/commercial waste, medical waste (pharmaceuticals, sharps, and needles), radioactive waste, ammunition, explosives, compressed gas cylinders, and smoke detectors.
