Week of August 7 through 13, all day; for ages 5 to 11
With your little eye can you find all the items hidden in the Children’s Section?

Rock Painting

Tuesday, August 8 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; for all ages
Stop by, hang out, and paint rocks. You can add your own inspirational thoughts to them before adding them to the library's rock snake Rockardo or dropping them off to be a part of one of our League City Parks kindness rock collections. Or take yours home to add to your garden!

Clash of the Cards

Wednesday, August 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m., for ages 12 to 18
Explore new ways to sharpen your skills with strategy-based card games such as Exploding Kittens and Magic: The Gathering! All experience levels are welcome. This program is hosted by a Teen Advisory Board member.
Note: Card games will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own card games if they are interested in a specific teen-rated game.

Orbit and Astros Parade

Thursday, August 10; Parade: 10:30 a.m., Orbit Program: 11:00 a.m.; for all ages
Our favorite green mascot will help tell the story of kindness, books, and the importance of libraries!

Cookbook Book Club

Saturday, August 12 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.; for adults
Back-to-School Bento Boxes
Level up your school lunch game and take a chance on a perfectly packable lunch! Bring a copy of a recipe used, photo inspiration, or results to share with the group.

Join us for songs, movement, and a whole lot of shaking!

Do you scream at your television knowing you could do better than contestants in game shows? Step into their shoes and compete with others in classic game shows! This program is hosted by a Teen Advisory Board member.
