Meet LCPD's New Public Information Officer

Officer Jose Ortega—who has worked with the League City Police Department for 12 years—is LCPD's new Public Information Officer. During his career with LCPD he has worked as a patrol officer, hostage negotiator, dispatch assistant, and is also a member of the honor guard. He is excited to bring important information to residents and share the positive work the Police Department does within League City.
