F.O.C.U.S. List
What is the FOCUS List?
The focus list is our targeted list of pets most in need. Each of these pets has been identified by staff as potentially needing extra help to get them from shelter to adoption. They may be on this list for a variety of reasons, such as an extended length of stay, special medical needs, mental wellness needs, specific adopter needs, and more. They are considered to be at highest risk of an extended shelter stay, mental wellness concerns (high stress, depression, or other behavioral deterioration in the kennel environment), or may have specific medical or adoption needs that may slow their path to adoption.
All of the pets on this list are eligible for a waived Adoption fee. These pets may also be great candidates for Foster Care, Dog Day Getaways, or Pawjama Parties!
