Upcoming Events

Nature with Kristine

Join us February 10 for a fun day out in nature! In the morning from 9-11 a.m. we will meet at Rustic Oaks Park for Nature Arts & Crafts- Valentine's Cards and in the afternoon from 2-4 p.m. we will meet at Heritage Park for a Nature Walk!

Walk for Wellness

The City of League City and The Friends of League City Seniors Foundation have partnered for over 12 years to bring you the Walk for Wellness 1K/5K Walk/Run. This event is designed to increase awareness of the needs of seniors and encourage citizens of all ages to develop healthy lifestyles! This fun community event is designed to increase awareness of at the needs of senior citizens and encourage citizens of all ages to develop healthy lifestyles. Sponsored by the City of League City and The Friends of League City Seniors Foundations. All participants must be registered. The Walk for Wellness will take place at Walter Hall Park.

Date: March 23
Time: Begins at 7:30 a.m.
Cost: The registration fee is $30 and increases to $35 at packet pick-up and race day (Anyone registered after March 8 won't be guaranteed a t-shirt.)

Upcoming Programs

Registration for our programs can be done in person or by visiting our online registration site.  The brochure can be viewed online or picked up at Hometown Heroes Park or the Community Center.

Safe Sitter

Designed to prepare students to be safe when they're home along, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. The next class will be held on February 24  from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This class is open to ages 10 to 14. The session fee is $75.

Adult Co-ed Volleyball

Join us this Spring for our co-ed Adult Volleyball League! For questions, contact us at 281-554-1180.
  •  League Season: March 4 to May 18
  •  Ages: 18 and older
  •  Cost: Residents: $250 per team | Non-resident: $375.00 per team
  •  Registration:  OPEN
  •  Location: Hometown Heroes Park

Coaches Needed

We are need of coaches for our 7U soccer league and our T-ball league. If you are interested in coaching, please email Eric Rich or Tara Dahl Campbell.

Taste of Code Ninjas

We are currently offering Taste of Code Ninja classes. Unleash your child's imagination. Create, play and learn at their own pace as they gain skills in coding and problem solving. Learn to code and have a blast while building awesome video games. Get support and encouragement from our instructors. 

  • Taste of Code Ninjas  Mondays, February 12 to March 4  from 6-7 p.m. for kids 6-14 years. The session fee is $125. Register today!
