Kim Hera

Communications Manager Kimberly Hera is an 8 year veteran of the Department with experience in Telecommunications and Training. Communications Manager Kimberly Hera’s experience includes 1 year prior experience with Texas Department of Public Safety (D.P.S.), 3 years prior experience with Texas City Police Department, D.P.S. Associate Trainer, Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC), Communications Training Officer, TCLEOSE Instructor, and Telecommunications Operator. Communications Manager Kimberly Hera holds a TCLEOSE Advanced Telecommunicator License and an Emergency Medical Dispatcher and CPR certifications. Communications Manager Kimberly Hera has delivered a baby for a couple on the side of IH45 via 9-1-1 communications relay of instructions and became a Lead Telecommunicator for the Department in 2008. Kimberly was promoted to the position of Communications Manager in April of 2010.
