Darrell Kelemen began his career as a police officer in 1997 with the City of Willis, Texas while completing his undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University. He worked for the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, Santa Fe Police Department, and Webster Police Department prior to joining the League City Police Department in 2008. Darrell Kelemen holds a TCOLE Master Peace Officer license, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Sam Houston State University, and a Masters Degree from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management. He is assigned to the Police Department's Support Services Division as the Bureau Commander/Reserve Captain. The duties of this position include supervision of the Department's communication center, records division, crime analysis unit, statistical reporting, mandated State/Federal reporting, Stratified Policing initiative, and the department's reserve police officer unit. He is the system administrator over the Department's multi-agency Records Management Reporting Software (Central Square) that provides software and training to over 60 agencies in the gulf coast region.
